Hi!My name is John (Jack) Salley, and I am currently seeking a job in the realm of policy research or policy advocacy. I am a skilled writer, possess strong research capabilities, and am a passionate worker. I have travelled extensively for my age to such locations as Spain, Italy, Portugal, Iceland, Denmark, and most recently Chile and Argentina. I speak conversational Spanish and possess good interpersonal skills due to my experience in the tourism industry. Through my experience obtaining my Bachelor of Arts at American University in Political Science I learned to utilize my analytical mind and problem solving skills to conduct policy research and analysis. These skills were further honed during my internship with Emmer Consulting, a non-profit firm which "represents a range of non-profit clients in the health policy field." Most recently I was a Deputy Registrar for the City of Alexandria Registrar Office during the 2024 November General Election.
