In 2011 we realized our dream of becoming the largest Canadian Owned Triathlon Series in Canada. In 2012 MultiSport Canada had over 10,000 registered participants in the Triathlon Series to make us one of the largest in the world. Permission Based Marketing and SponsorshipA foundation of our success has been the use of Permission Based Marketing as a vehicle to create a win/win situation for our customers and our sponsors. Since inception we have worked hard to develop customer loyalty, knowing we could guide loyal customers to sponsors who had a compelling message. One of the first requests I generally get from a potential sponsor is "Please send me your sponsorship deck". My answer is usually "Before I do that tell me about your target customer, your high-level goals and marketing plans. If you tell me these things I can craft a program that compliments your strategies and will be more meaningful to you". I believe that sponsorship has moved to a place where quantifiable sales is the true test. A major goal of MultiSport Canada is to find a sponsor who shares our vision of proving ROI beyond impressions and brand awareness, using sales as the measure.Event Management and LogisticsOver the past several years our reputation has spread beyond the world of triathlon. Our success has resulted in relationships which have expanded our scope to include event management and logistics beyond the world of triathlon. In this regard MultiSport Canada has been contracted by Tough Mudder Toronto, ALS Canada (Cycling), The St. Joe's Health Centre Foundation (Cycling), Nicola's Triathlon, the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation (Joe's Team Triathlon). Most recently we have been retained by Centurion Cycling and the all new eGames Barrie. Centurion and eGames are properties owned by Graham Fraser. Show less
