• Daily opening and securing of the facility.• Sets performance goals and objectives for 7 workers for achievement of operational results. Monitors, audits, reports and drives the team to meet company established metrics.• Manages workers’ performance including training, performance and disciplinary coaching and terminations. Conducts interviews during hiring periods.• Interfaces with owner regarding policies, practices, and procedures.• Enforces and follows company policies and procedures including standard operating procedures and safety.•Develop methods and procedures for the most efficient and economical routing and movement of customers' waste in an error-free manner as well as within established service center budget guidelines.• Review daily tickets and costumer manifests and reports with with drivers for invoicing and archiving. • Issue directives to subordinates to coordinate the movement of expedited, late or special circumstance waste.• Assist in the investigation of all accidents on job related injuries and ensures report preparation is timely and accurate with corresponding corrective actions initiated; coordinates same with Director of Safety. Is knowledgeable and has understanding and application of company safety practices including DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA rules and regulations and ensures worker compliance.• Participate in Controlled Substance Testing Program, which meets minimum Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations for Pre-Employment, Random Reasonable Cause and Post Accident Testing.•Plan, route and execute waste water and waste coolant pick-ups. • Maintain positive working relationships and a high level of engagement with owner, customers, and drivers. • Make decisions that comply with policies and established guidelines. • Maintain a high regard for safety and DOT compliance and regulations.
