I am an independent communications consultant with more than 45 years of experience in leadership communications, human resource communications, crisis management, shareholder communications, reputation management, and not-for-profit communications. I retired from Pfizer in 2018 after serving in a number of progressively responsible executive roles there, including VP of Stakeholder Communications. I currently specialize in communications for the biotech and biopharma sectors and have experience with companies ranging from biotech startups to global biopharmaceutical corporations. Prior to joining Pfizer, I was a consultant in human resource communications with Brecker & Merryman in New York City. In addition, I am an adjunct instructor of communications with New York University and President of the Board of Trustees for The Compassionate Friends Foundation, which acts like an endowment fund for The Compassionate Friends organization in the USA. The Compassionate Friends is the nation's largest peer-help organization serving families after the death of a child, at any age and from any cause. The Compassionate Friends is an emerging movement with chapters around the world, including some 500 chapters in the USA and Puerto Rico.
