Primary function is to oversee Federal and State grants concerning Housing & Community development for Nassau County.As Director my goal is to insure implementation and monitor the programs and grants initiated by Federal US Department of Housing & Urban Development. We are dedicated to building a stronger community through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) as well as other programs.Our mission is to support underserved communities by providing decent housing, suitable living environments and expanding economic opportunities principally for low and moderate income people. In furtherance of these goals, we implement the following programs: Housing Choice Voucher (Section VIII) Homeownership Center HUD Supportive Housing Programs

The Homeownership Center of Nassau County, Long Island Department Of Housing is dedicated to providing home ownership opportunities, home buyer education, budget, credit repair counseling and foreclosure prevention and intervention for people in need throughout Nassau County. HUD-certified counselors provide compassionate counseling, information, assistance and education to buyers and homeowners in Nassau County, New York.
