-Leading all integration efforts, including integration of Fluxx with Azure B2C for users SSO (single sign-on) & integration with LexisNexis Bridger for OFAC compliance screening-Implementing flags and alerts on application and report forms in Fluxx using liquid code

I volunteered at the KeNIC ICT committee for 4 years (2 terms of 2 years each). KeNIC is the dot ke domain registry, licensed to manage and administer the dot ke Country Code Top-Level Domain Name (.ke ccTLD). At the committee, I was among the team responsible for advising the management board on all technical issues.

-Leading the KENET cybersecurity division. In this capacity, I lead the IAM (Identity and Access Management) and Identity Federation project for SSO (single sign-on) within the Kenyan R&E (Research & Education community). I have experience working with LDAP, FreeIPA, Active Directory (AD), Active Directory Federation Service (ADFS) and SAML 2.0.-Maintaining the KENET community cloud infrastructure using a combination of commercial & opensource solutions-Advising management on emerging issues that will impact the R&E community in Kenya in relation to cloud services and Cybersecurity-Mentoring and supervising junior technical staff

-Setting up and configuring Windows, Unix and Linux based Servers. Proficient in working with FreeBSD, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu and Windows servers-Virtualization. Have experience working with hypervisors including VMWare vSphere ESXi, KVM, VMware Workstation and VirtualBox-Setting up and configuring authoritative and caching DNS.-Network monitoring. Possesses extensive knowledge in configuring network monitoring tools including Nagios, Nconf, cacti and smokeping.-Proxy server setup and configuration. Have experience in configuring services including SQUID, DHCP and Firewalls (PF, IPtables, CSF )

Duties included maintenance of Communication, Navigation and Surveillance equipment. The communication equipment includes HF and VHF radio transceivers, Voice Communication Control System (VCCS which is a central control and distribution equipment for radios and telephones), voice logging system, Aeronautical Information Data Processing System, Aeronautical message switching computer system and VSAT. The navigation equipment includes the Instrument Landing System (ILS), VHF Omnidirectional radio Range (VOR), the Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) and radio beacons. For surveillance, I gained experience in RADAR systems (primary and secondary) and associated RADAR data processors and display units for Air Traffic Control operations.
