John joined Kerry in 1997, after graduating from Queens University Belfast, and has held leadership positions across a number of Kerry lines of business and regions. In May 2020, John was named President & CEO of Taste. Prior to this promotion, John held several executive roles with Kerry. In 2002 he was appointed Divisional Financial Controller for Kerry Foods. Two years later, John relocated to the U.S. to serve as Vice President Finance for the Flavours business. Following his success in that role, he was named General Manager of Natural Products. In 2012, John moved back to Ireland to take on the position of President of Beverage. After four years in that role, he became President of Taste, Dairy & Culinary for the business in Europe. In 2017, John took the opportunity to share his experience by leading developing markets as President & CEO of Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa where he was responsible for a number of strategic acquisitions. He moved back to Ireland in April 2020 to the role of President & CEO of Taste.
