SYSTEMS INTEGRATION ENGINEER IN SES GOVERNMENT SOLUTIONS – SES Key member of the senior management team selected to lead long term and annual strategic planning of technology, and daily management of global satellite network, hosted payloads, and communication technologies and infrastructure. Design, implement, and manage technology plan involving establishment of scalability and stable technology architecture in respect to extremely high information and data processing requirements under strict time lines. Administer data architecture, capacity management, applications development, systems integration to ensure technical leadership in a competitive market. Establish tactical objectives for the technology team through developed programs, operational support, and project management ensuring completion on time, on budget while upholding high quality systems development, implementation and technology infrastructure. Respond to proposals and architecture inquiries. I was routinely required to provide end to end, turnkey high reliability mission critical communication facilities design, construction, testing and operational readiness, ongoing maintenance management and operations. Site selection, acquisition of all Federal, State and local permits and licenses, (ie) FCC operating and FAA tower coordination.Oversee and inspect all contractors and suppliers, document and certificate all activities for compliance. Provided all specifications, construction details and scope of work to be performed. Time tables, contractor coordination and conflict resolution. To include but not limited to earthworks, excavation, soil conditioning, material compaction and load testing. Steel reinforced concrete type, placement, composition and testing. Installation, testing and documented proof of performance of all electronic and electrical equipment. Construction and Installation of dish type of antennas 32 meters and smaller and all supporting equipment.
