Responsible for all aspects of campus voice and data network design, functionality and implementation. This includes but is not limited to, firewall and security policies, design of IT aspects concerning new construction as well as enforcing the campus acceptable use policy, implementing new technologies and maintaining connections to outside service providers.

Responsible for all aspects of the university data and voice network comprising of over 10,000 data drops across western Kentucky. Also responsible for designing and overseeing all aspects of technology during new construction. Installation and maintenance of the current fire and burglar alarm monitoring system. Overseeing and coordinating all infrastructure work performed by current university contract contractor. Network administrator for ResNet in the Residential Colleges. I was also the back-up email administrator and share responsibilities of maintaining DCHP and DNS servers on campus and well as maintaining the maintenance and management of all UPS's to network gear and their E-circuit generator connections as well as a host of other responsibilities as saw fit by the university including the planning of a campus wide access control system and emergency notification system.

Responsible for maintaining and programming campus phone switches covering approximately 8,000 extensions, three legacy switches, and one hybrid TDM/VoIP switch (which I installed) spanning western Kentucky. Also maintain the campus copper, fiber and coaxial infrastructures, and responsible for work orders and trouble tickets and a host of other telecomm applications as saw fit by the university and Information Systems, including but not limited to CBORD card readers, fire alarms and voice recorders.
