Built and managed a team of Regional Market Access Directors that called on commercial and government payers, along with Federal accounts, state oncology societies, specialty pharmacies, home infusion providers and provided reimbursement support to community oncology practices and institutions.

Responsible for establishing coverage and managing Kyprolis (Carfilzomib) with commercial payers and Medicare Administrative Contractors. Managed relationships with key specialty pharmacy accounts along with providing consultative reimbursement services to large hematology / oncology community practices and key institutional accounts.

Represent Otsuka America with all assigned payer channels and trade customers in preparation for an anticipated medical benefit drug launch.

Responsible for the successful development and implementation of the strategic and tactical strategies that ensured appropriate access upon launch of our neurology product - Qutenza. Built out and managed a best-in-class Market Access Team that ensured favorable payer coverage/reimbursement policies and provided consultative reimbursement services to provider/institutional accounts. 

Partnered with the payer community, primarily government payer entities, including CMS regional Medicare contractors; state Medicaid agencies; and some Workers Compensation programs. Provided education and information to assist in the development/revision of least restrictive coverage policies for physician administered injectables and medical device.
