These systems have ranged from small personal facilities, to radio stations, recording studios and major television network facilities. I have, at various times, specified, designed and documented facilities, ordered the equipment and supplies to construct and maintain them, built them, commissioned them for operation, maintained them, trained the operators to use the equipment, and used some of the facilities for my own projects.I also have extensive experience troubleshooting and either repairing or supervising the repair of all kinds of audio/video and broadcasting equipment and systems ranging from small portable equipment to large FM broadcast transmitters. This work has ranged from routine commissioning and fault isolation to emergency fault isolation and repair of critical broadcast systemsIn this day and age of "throw away and replace" maintenance, I have often specialized in solving problems in interfacing different pieces of equipment.I also own equipment and software to capture field audio recordings of acoustic music and edit it for publication (CD's, audio files, etc.) and to digitize various analog formats (tape, cassette, phonograph records, some video formats) including moderate levels of restoration. I have several long term customers, and have been capturing digital field recordings for 20 years now. Show less
