I began my photography career in 1991 as a photojournalist for the North County Times (formerly the Blade-Citizen), where he photographed everything from Ross Perot to the San Diego Padres.In 2002, I started John Schnack Photography and never looked back. In addition to weddings throughout San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles, John has been commissioned to photograph weddings in Hawaii, Vermont, Belize, Portugal, Spain, Italy and Mexico. His photographs are regularly published in the industry’s most respected magazines and blogs, including Martha Stewart Weddings and Style Me Pretty.I also shoot commercial work for a select group of clients including Visa, Asics America, Louisville Slugger, New Era Caps and Pardee Homes.A lifelong coastal North County resident, I am based in Carlsbad, California.
