Throughout my career, I have been fascinated with the use of technology and data science to make businesses more effective at keeping and attracting customers. With the rapid evolution of technology and cloud computing, the possibilities for optimizing business decisions has become even more interesting. From my background in computer science (BS), marketing (MS, A.B.D) and statistics, I have a deep understanding of data and the modeling needed to extract insight. Experience on the marketing side means I also speak the language of business. This unique combination enables me to break down business problems into the needed analytic solutions and translate the results into clear, concise actions in the language of key stakeholders. Today, companies have a treasure trove of data about their customers’ behavior. My current initiatives involve wrangling these disparate sources to inform investment decisions (ROI), opportunity identification and targeting, pricing, product bundling, retention (churn risk) and cross/up sell strategies.
