Provide support for the line control safety program. Research and interprets federal, DOE, state, and local safety standards and codes. Assess and prepare compliance programs and manage implementations. Provide input on safety aspects related to design and contract reviews, purchase requests, and statement of works. Prepares employee training course packages and conduct safety related courses. Evaluate subcontractors’ safety plan, contracts, and safety professional’s resumes. Conduct semiannual safety inspection of SPR six sites. Safety Officer for site emergency responder and security exercises. Provide industrial hygiene services when requested. Review design package for projects to ensure safety and health requirements are included.
