I have worked at James Monroe's Highland as a tour guide for the summers of 2015 and 2016, and have served as a docent to do tours at the Scottsville Museum since 2011. I have also worked with the Fluvanna County Historical Society and the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation. Included are experiences with period firearms and living history demonstrations with the National Park Service in Virginia. In the Spring of 2020 I published my first work "Ten Days of Great Excitement and Anxiety: Sheridan's Raid in Fluvanna County" through the Fluvanna County Historical Society. At Colonial Williamsburg I conduct research on the military of the 18th Century and participate and lead in demonstrations. I have given specialty talks on site on Virginia's military units during the Revolution.
