John has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Most recently, John was President at Evoke Navience. Prior to that, John was Executive Director for Payer Marketing & Operations in the Oncology Division at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Previously, he was Sr. Director for Managed Markets Strategy in the USP Managed Markets Group where he and his team were responsible for developing payer segment strategies for the U.S. Pharmaceuticals Group including both the commercial and government markets. John also provides a leadership role in identifying emerging payer trends that will impact the current product portfolio and future product value proposition development. Prior to his current role, John was Director for Medicare Strategy where he led multiple internal teams responsible for formulating recommendations with regard to the organization’s approach and strategy for Medicare Part D. In June 2008, John received an Emerging Leadership Award from Pharmaceutical Executive magazine and was profiled in a feature article “PHARM EXEC’s 45 under 45: The Change Generation.” John was specifically recognized for his expertise and knowledge of Managed Markets in the United States. Prior to joining BMS, John was with Forest Laboratories where he held leadership positions in both marketing and managed care focused on customer segment strategic planning. He has over 17 years of sales and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated success in business growth, managing profitability, strategy and execution, and developing people. John earned both his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Masters in Business Administration from Villanova University.
