Manage, develop, renew and execute all aspects of Nike Inc.'s non-retail Real Estate from Moscow to Lisbon and from London to Cape Town.Revise and execute the Nike strategy for consolidated and uniform showrooms and office space across Europe with the associated budget, approval, negotiation and legal work.Oversee the commercial and legal facets of Nike’s Europe headquarters in the Netherlands and surrounding premises ensuring sustained productive landlord relations.Value engineer all existing leases through proactive market analysis, strategy development & execution to ensure the best commercial terms and conditions for Nike & its affiliates.Oversee & approve the design, costing and construction of new & refurbished locations with project budget tracking and post implementation reporting. Develop design guidelines, brand presentation and technical performance specifications Nike & the Nike Inc. brands (Converse, Umbro, Golf, Hurley & Cole Haan). Track design of new locations against agreed guidelines.Manage the internal corporate matrixes for all Nike Inc. brands and across all organizations (departmental, country, European & Global levels) with associated reports & presentations.Manage a team of real estate finance analyst, lease administration as well as project team management on a case by case basis for all new projects & ensure integration and alignment with Nike Global Real Estate.Track, forecast and monitor annual real estate related OpEx & CapEx budgets in excess of $50m & $12m respectively.

Development & execution of corporate real estate strategies for international corporations with core focuses on brand representation and a reduction in real estate expenditure. We represent our clients for re-negotiations of existing leases, reductions & increases in leased space & early terminations with the key goals being better terms and conditions for our clients & maximum cost savings over the lifecycle of the lease. Turn key delivery of projects across Europe within the agreed strategies, from identifying locations in need of attention through to the sourcing of suitable locations, commercial & legal negotiations, construction & fit-out budget calculations. Full management of implementation processes ensuring compliance to all relevant facets of the project namely brand design, landlord requirements, technical specifications and third party vendors. Finally we manage the input elements from the client (branding, IT, security etc.) and facilitate the relocation process. Key deliverables are completion on schedule & within budget while achieving the best possible standard of fit-out and relocation for our clients.

The planning, designing, organizing, supervising and full implementation of new Nike stores, managed spaces & exhibitions. Execution of retail in line with Nike’s Brand image with the single intention of bringing Nike to the consumer. Quarterly meetings with Nike Europe’s Retail teams to ensure alignment with the brand and within retail to perfect in store presentation and Nike representation across the region. Charged with developing a strategy in new & existing locations to generate annual double digit growth in retail sales. Interviewed existing and potential retailers to develop partnerships in retail and expand the Nike business further. Managed the retail “space” budget with an annual value of €6m which included new stores, events & maintaining existing stores. Sourcing, negotiating and approving new sites for stores and designing the stores to meet Nike’s guidelines & the landlord’s requirements. Managed a team within Nike and appointed & supervised numerous outsourced architects, designers and contractors. Research of retail and market trends in the South African market.Working cross functionally with all areas of the Nike business at the appropriate stage of new projects. Communicated to stakeholders through a monthly “Space Update” to ensure transparency and involvement.

Space planning functions as well as presentation and analytical work. Outsourced to manage the re-organisation of the headquarters of a large South African bank, a 3 year project involving the relocation of 4000 employees and a total project budget of over €12m.
