With over 20 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, and employee training, I bring a proven track record of operational excellence and leadership. Since September 2020, I have managed the 300,000-square-foot MDI Lincolnton facility, overseeing all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, and employee onboarding. My role includes ensuring OSHA compliance, maintaining certifications for over 1,000 employees, and coordinating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to meet company goals.A dual-focus leader, I balance employee engagement with operational efficiency. I lead onboarding programs, deliver safety and benefits training, and oversee recertification processes to maintain compliance and workplace safety. On the operational side, I manage space allocation, inventory flow, and vendor relationships, ensuring smooth logistics and supporting grocery and produce management needs.Previously, I led key initiatives such as establishing MDI’s SOS safety team, setting up cross-dock processes, and managing downtown storage facilities. During the pandemic, I played a pivotal role in expanding warehouse capabilities and training new staff on MDI systems. My work has directly increased efficiency, such as doubling Atlanta’s cross-dock operations and increasing Kehe inbound trucks from two to ten per week.My accomplishments include receiving the MDI Safety Coin Award (2020) and serving as a guest speaker at the Appalachian Safety Summit.
