I researched, implemented, and improved state of the art genetic and evolutionary algorithms via the UT Computer Science Department’s distributed computing cluster to improve skills for simulated soccer playing robots.

512 Hyperloop is a student organization that competed in the national competition sponsored by SpaceX in August 2017. I led the frame and structures team, overseeing a team of fifteen undergraduates through research, design, and manufacturing.• Led 15 undergraduates from R&D to assembly, managing $40,000 budget and preserving deadlines• Coordinated logistics of the pod and team to Los Angeles for international competition• Researched electromagnetic levitation, DFA methods, vacuum safe power systems, control theory, and embedded system design options• Organized and led team-wide safety, tool use, and machine shop training sessions• Designed and fabricated over 50 mechanical parts at on-campus machine shop• Coordinated outsourcing of extensive manufacturing pipeline with third partyAfter completing construction, we represented the University of Texas at Austin at the final competition in Los Angeles, as one of twenty four teams that were selected.
