Mainly, solving the hot cracking phenomenon on aluminium alloy AA6082 without heat treatment and filler material. Disk laser welding and study of the experimental results. • Key Achievements: Developed a method to stop the hot cracking phenomenon whilst welding 6xxx grade aluminium without the need to heat treat or introduce filler material.
