These Analysis Cubes imported data from SAP and APEX and were integrated into existing .Net applications and SharePoint 2007. In addition, financial reports were developed using SSRS 2008 leveraging MDX and SQL Server 2008. Developed functional requirements as well as managed development and quality assurance activities using a full SDLC. These reports help the company manage their day to day business with respects to risk management. As part of the project, incorporated Silverlight functionality to GPS based dashboards for enhanced functionality. Other duties include the development of project proposals that were presented to customers for additional phases of work. Identified as the Project Manager in the development and customization of MFG/PRO a Progress based Multinational Integrated ERP Application that manufactured commercial digital print presses. This web based application allowed customers to order materials and consumables online as well as pay orders and open invoices via credit card. Significant systems integration was developed to interface with other applications, such as SAP, Clarify and Siebel.In addition, cutting edge development was successfully developed and deployed in the area of call management and customer support where field engineers would receive and manage and close calls via Web Browsers on Phones using WAP2 technology. This information as well as paging data was then uploaded real time to the MFG/PRO ERP system to manage customer service.

Designated as the Senior Project Manager for the Single Source Initiative (SSI) Project. Consolidated their business processes for developing and distributing legal financial forms using Sigmalink, an XML web based content management system developed by Empolis. This system allowed the legal authors to build customized legal content that met individual customer specific requirements. Identified internal business groups and documents as candidates to be migrated onto the CMS. Integrated this system with their corporate ERP System to update Order Processing and Labor Tracking.

Directed team in the design, development and implementation of an integrated Progress based multilingual global based business system to control all of their manufacturing, accounting, purchasing, inventory, sales administration, and quality assurance requirements. As part of duties, coordinated the integration of these processes with existing legacy systems, SAP ERP System and Internet reporting applications. Compiled security procedures and process documentation to support all developed systems and interfaces. Advised upper level management on appropriate courses of action in which their IT solutions should follow.

Reporting to the CFO, organized and coordinated the conversion and integration of all business systems from a Novell environment to the Progress based MFG/PRO application in a UNIX environment. Defined custom solutions for business Process re-engineering requirements for the Planning/MRP Group.

Provided this company with a complete Novell Netware based medical system developed in Progress in order to handle their day to day business. In addition, an interface has been developed to allow MDS to send bills electronically to its medical insurance groups, i.e. Blue Cross/Blue Shield. After full implementation of the system, scheduling efficiency increased by 200 % and open outstanding account receivables has been reduced by 60 %.

Designed an integrated manufacturing and financial software system for General Mills to increase the turn around time for the processing and manufacturing of orders, and to increase the efficiency of their Accounting Group. Resources for this project included 10 Programmers that developed a library of 1200 programs on an IBM 3090 mainframe. Through the use of a 4 G/L (MIMS), the project was completed and implemented in 9 months, ahead of schedule and under budget. 900+ users are currently successfully utilizing the system. Benefits of this system have been the following:v Lead time on purchase orders reduced from 2 weeks to 1 day.v Implemented use of computerized Bill of Materials in Manufacturing.v Eliminated double entry of invoice data by Accounting.v Reduction in on-hand inventory by 5 million dollars.

Designated as Account Executive for consulting contracts to Fortune 500 companies. Acted as corporate business liaison with Symix Computer Systems inc. in the area of manufacturing systems development. Defined business and systems solutions using Progress and MIMS for the Fortune 200 Customers

Developed a Purchasing System that interfaced with the AMAPS MRP package. Replaced a manually entered system with the ability to cut and paste orders from the MRP package. Designed and implemented a Cost Transfer System that would cost out all transfers between contracts. Integrated this package with the Purchasing, Inventory, and the AMAPS MRP Systems. Replaced a manual system for Finance, which in turn, reduced the number of financial analysts from 45 to 12 for a 3 MM annual savings .Prepared the System Architecture Overview for the company. This project required that all computer systems be documented with their function, description, owner and data passed between systems. A five year plan was developed by the Systems Integration Group on how to reduce duplicity and streamline corporate systems.Assisted in the establishment of the Corporate System Methodology Life Cycle Handbook for the monitor control and timely implementation of new systems.
