It’s been quite a journey for me during these last 20 years or so in the High Net Worth Insurance market and these last 3 years since we launched Vizion have been some of the most exciting, fulfilling and I can’t think that I’ve ever worked harder!As the European Personal Lines Manager at Chubb, I had the thrill of leading the launch of Masterpiece in the UK in 1996 which revolutionised the high net worth insurance market. It was an exhilarating time and I was truly honoured to have led that business for 11 years.It’s impossible to work for companies like Chubb and AIG and not to become passionate about customer service. Anyone who knows me understands how much I care about customers being treated fairly and especially when they suffer a loss.I love working in the insurance industry but sometimes we get bad press and frankly, at times it is well deserved. If you’re a customer of some means and you have your lovely home and contents insured on a ‘cheap standard market’ insurance policy, you might get the shock of your life when you put in a claim; and not in a good way. These types of policies are renowned for not fully paying claims, and often leave clients with a bitter taste. I have made it my personal mission to ensure people are adequately protecting themselves, and to only rely on top quality insurers who I know will work tirelessly to ensure claims are paid quickly, fairly and in full.I am known by my friends and colleagues for my for honesty and integrity, values which I believe are vitally important, and values which are embedded in the core of our business.
