With a wealth of experience in the waste and recycling business management and development. Working in public and private sectors at senior levels for many years. With no clear planned career path I have followed my interests and enthusiasms with some success. I now find myself developing renewable energy projects with UYE and Ignian Ltd as a natural extension of that work and knowledge. I continue to work via Ettrickhall in advising and consulting for some very good clients in waste and renewable fields. The ability to be decisive on new business start ups - building partnerships with experience, ability and the means to deliver strong sustainable businesses continues to envigorate me, as new opportunities arise. The ability to understand clients needs in both public and private sectors, coupled with many years of dealing with the "front end" of managing relationships in planning , permitting and business management that lead to successful developments and business growth, has been crucial to business success.

And winning the National Planning Achievement Award for the 16 million tonne ash heap at Barlow beside Drax. -
