Duties include creating, coordinating and/or conducting all safety training for plant associates, leadership & contractors. Managing multiple sites in U.S. and Canada. Develop safety programs, maintaining/updating Data Collection System database, MSDS online system, incident reporting system, and several other databases. Perform risk assessments & job hazard analysis. Maintain and assist with First Aid/CPR/AED training, hearing conservation program, partner with local clinics regarding occupational illness/injury related topics. Work with workers’ compensation and legal counsel to coordinate the investigation, processing, and defense of claims against the organization, use data from previous cases to reduce the risk of future cases. Manage contractor projects ranging from $100,000 asbestos remediation project to a $1.5 million roof replacement.
