Work on a Cloud Support Team to migrate all applications and databases for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) from an on-site data center to the AWS Cloud. Worked on Implementing a DevOps transformation, utilizing an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach to building, deploying and maintaining all operations to the cloud. Using GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible and Kubernetes we are working to completely automate the process of building and maintaining multiple WebSphere clusters, Oracle and DB2 Databases, WebServers and a number of other Third Party application. I support these operations across Management, Dev, UAT, Staging and Production environments. Once completed we will then move into a Blue/Green deployment approach to rebuilding all environments every three months per customer requirement. We work to maintain security posture of all servers by responding in a timely manner to IAVA Notices and re-configuring systems per related STIGs to bring all servers into compliance in order to obtain and maintain the site ATO.
