The motion of a well-oiled machine is a thing of beauty...but it doesn’t come without tools, focus, and lots of elbow-grease! That’s the principle which has served me well over the years, from my time as a Sergeant in the Air Force through into my career in Distribution and Logistics. “Integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do”…those are the first words you here in the USAF, and they echo through my mind constantly as I engage in the daily operations of the workplace. As I’ve operated numerous locations across the country, I have always “left them better than I found them.” Whether it’s just updating the little things, or a complete overhaul of operations, I take the challenges equally, and strive for the same excellence Uncle Sam instilled in me from day one.As I have succeeded over the years, I have found I am a problem-solver first – I truly enjoy evaluating any process or operation, stripping it down to the nuts and bolts, and rebuilding it to a cleaner, more efficient one. And then comes the training…I’ve written numerous SOPs, WKIs, and Training Plans, for anything from inventory control to shipping dangerous goods - - and I actually enjoy it! My leadership style is that of servant leadership, as I believe in the importance of a company’s culture and care for the well-being of the workforce, and that always filters down ultimately to the customer. In my off-time, I’m married and have one beautiful child, in between our travels all over the country and world! I’m an avid reader and film buff, as well as an amateur farmer; when not gardening, I spend outdoor time on the water, usually paddle boarding with my family or fishing; nights are for board games and painting D&D figurines; and don’t even get me started on cooking and brewing!
