Rogue Seed is a Seed Supply company specializing in high quality seed produciton increases, processing, QA and enhancement, especially of parental and trial seed materials, but capable of larger productions as well. Rogue Seed will support large and small seed companies, seed dealers and distributors, and plant breeders for critical and high quality productions. All species of seed production will be considered, as well as vegetative plant increases, with an empasis on vegetable seeds. Rogue Seed can manage seed production increases globally through a network of vetted, high quality cooperators.

River Bottom Farms is the retail business name of XRBF Industries, LLC. Sales focus is high quality fresh produce, alfalfa hay and specialty food items.

Responsible for developing and implementing global operations supply strategy for Onion, Carrot, Leek, and Cabbage seed crops. Aligns activities of Production, Processing, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain globally to meet crop earnings and profitability targets. Focuses on COG’s as a % of gross sales and on meeting customer needs towards consistent, high quality seed supply. Supports and challenges functional operations departments to prepare for future volumes, complexity, and margin targets. Sets direction for operational crop research and technology development and approves crop focused projects. Leads a team of global managers and specialists who focus on implementing crop strategy within specific functional departments. The team creates tactics to achieve global targets through regional implementation and actively supports functional activities. They collaboratively develop regional functional crop budgets as well as plan, assign, and oversee supply volumes for production, quality assurance and processing activities. We monitor and steer short term P&L KPI’s to achieve current year financial objectives. Supports team member development and promotion within and external to the biennial team. Member of Operations Leadership Team, team of Global Heads of Seed Supply, and the Biennial Strategic Crop Team. Works within a Crop by Function matrix organization. Engaged with decision making for Operations Head Count, Investment, Infrastructure, Planning and Budgeting. As part of the Strategic Crop Team for Biennial crops, responsible for setting and achieving mid and long term Profit and Loss KPI’s through strategic investment and activities. Works in cooperation with global crop leaders in Marketing and Sales, Research and Development and Finance to develop strategic mid and long term plans for crop group business growth and development.

Same role as BASF Global Head of Seed Supply. Bayer Vegetable Seeds was divested to BASF in August 2018.

Responsible to improve overall reliability and reduce cost for seed production of onion, carrot, leek, lettuce, spinach and fennel crops world wide. As part of Global Crop Teams, responsible for business growth and profitability of the Root & Bulb and Leafy crop families. Develop Crop Production strategy, lead Production Networks, manage Crop Placement and Crop Specialist (production research) staff, and lead specific Crop and Business Improvement projects. Work cooperatively with regional production teams to execute global objectives and initiatives.

Planning and allocation for parent seed of beans, peas, and sweet corn globally, with additional responsibility for parent seed quality. Global crop inspections and production support. Responsible for placement of large seeded crops globally to optimize cost and reliability.

Managed NAFTA Quality Improvement department in alignment with corporate Quality Assurance Strategy to deliver high quality seeds to customers worldwide. Oversaw regional Quality Assurance Managers with emphasis on quality specifications, quality improvement efforts, substandard inventory dispositions, and customer complaint handling. Oversaw regional Quality Management System department and global QMS Lead. Responsible for regional field pathology support, global quality assurance data management, and global material master team.

Responsible for seed quality improvement of all species in the PNW and New Zealand (Beans, Peas, Sweet Corn, Spinach, Beets, Cabbage, Chard, Parsley, Cilantro, Onions, Carrots, Radish). Supported PNW Operations and Production on all quality issues. Supported Customer Complaint handling for NAFTA Large Seed issues. Maintained product specifications for Large Seed Crops worldwide.

Developed and implemented regional marketing plan to improve depth and breadth of sales for seed encrustment and film coating business.
