I began work at British aerospace working as a security guard and after 3 years becoming security supervisor with a team of 4 people working with me.I left there in 2004 and began work with Greater Manchester police, all I ever wanted to do was work as a response officer and this was something I did for approx 15 years before heading off into the communications branch and working on the radios.After 2 years I made a move to the force operations centre where I worked in a small but very effective team and learnt alot about the job and myself. Just 3 months ago I moved to a new department and now I work as a missing person safe guarding officer, work with divisions and care homes to see how we can reduce demand and also review missing person cases to see where things have been missed and see if we can assist in any way.
