I am Senior Manager at Sphere Education Initiatives, which supports educators with the knowledge, experience, resources, and professional development opportunities to bring difficult conversations on the most pressing issues to the classroom in the form of civil discourse. By bringing facts and reason to the conversation, and through emphasizing viewpoint diversity, Sphere works with educators to rekindle the foundation of civic culture in America.Now a retired Teacher and Football Coach with 34+ years of full time experience, prior to joining Sphere, I taught in Florida at the State College of Florida Collegiate School (Bradenton), and spent the bulk of my career teaching and coaching at Gahanna Lincoln HS and Napoleon HS (both in Ohio). I am an actively licensed educator in two states, Ohio and Florida with a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from the University of Dayton, Ohio. Beyond the scope of career, I am an avid outdoorsman and traveler. My wife and I now reside in Florida. We are also co-authors of the "Welcome to the Other Side! Reclaiming Life After Surviving and Caregiving Through the Abyss of Cancer", a self-help narrative to guide cancer patients, survivors, and their caregivers through their journeys. It is based on our intertwined experience navigating though her cancer and recovery.
