Manage the Firm's Audit Practice consisting of five staff and two other partners who assist on specific clients as needed. Responsible for scheduling, review of each staff and each engagement. Provide compliance oversight with peer review requirements. Assist clients with cash management. Provide contract Financial Executive services to various clients, with duties (approximately Controller through Chief Financial Officer).

Worked with plant controllers to establish score cards that pertain to the goals set by management on a yearly basis and the Industrial plan. Prepared a plan for identifying cost and reducing cost below our 2004 budget. Continued support of the refinancing effort. Continued support of the control environment to improve the reliabiity of accounting information.

Responsible for all the daily functions of the accounting department. The Corporation consists of 8 companies with 15 different operating sites. Supervise 6 accountants, 2 account payable clerks, 3 payroll staff, 1 invoice clerk and 1 financial analyst consultant. Created procedures to capture liabilities subject to compromise required by the court. Provide information for subsidiaries being held for sale and information for future investors of our core businesses. Worked closely with MIS to develop reports required by the banks and their consultants during Chapter 11 proceedings. Helped to create procedures/reports for cash forecasting and cash conservation measures.

Used MPM/Award to create an "Estimate to Complete" on jobs that are in-house or in the bidding process. These Estimates to Complete are for internal and government requirements. Gathered information to complete various reports used by upper level management in assessing cost and profitability of all jobs between $20,000 and $200,000. Assisted division Accounting Manager in all aspects of Deltec, their accounting software. Continued to monitor previous Job Cost Anayst functions.
