About John Spofforth

At 83, I celebrate my 61st year as a fine artist in 2015. My career speciality was fine and applied sculpture using brick&mortar. I am celebrating my 62 year as an Independent Modern Artist. My MFA thesis in 1968 showed that imagination, not perception, is the key to unlock unseen sights that I make into images. 'The image is important; the communication of that is necessary,' a shoreline sandy smooth 30something Native woman's voice said that to is, in the air, about 6-8 feet in front of me and at 2 from 12, that angle. Just instantly and spontaneously to my lower left at that distance and angle, a two-toned green 'barb' flat, stiff image came zipping, cutting through an unseen (invisible) 'membrane' in front of my vision. Barb instantly caught my attention, and I snapped my head left and down to catch the image before me. Once I looked at it, it boomeranged back through, into the membrane, and disappeared, but for a sense of "gain" sound, as in an old radio, and it seemed to travel up and at an diagonol to my upper right. 3 seconds after barb punctured through to visibility then back into the membrane, Her Voice said that to me. {{don't go back to any words previous, just stay HERE and traveling along the line of words) At that instant after her Voice spoke to me, the membrane in front of me, hiding the reality behind it, opened like the shutter is in opening from a point like Captain Nero sub front did, like a camera shutter for between the lens position. And what I saw: The sky wide filled everywhere with tiny 'lumps' of red hot, flaming cannonballs, with glass-smooth faces in the southerly path the warm Pacific Winds are floating the nuclear fallout live particles, throughout the sky and space in front me (and engulfing me as well), and flaming behinds, sloughing the round nuclear particles's travel through Kwajalein Atoll's warm air, nine degrees north of the Equator, in the M.I., south of Bikini Atoll, where the U.S. exploded a LARGE hyrogen nuclear bomb airbourne over the island. Pacific Winds traveled the blood-red skywide mass of the same 'lumps' of radiating nuclear fallout
