• Corporate Management Team Member responsible for: financial and operating reviews of all business units, joint ventures, major capital expenditures, new systems integration and new program bids; due diligence reviews of all acquisitions, joint ventures and investments; post-acquisition integration of new businesses; negotiation of purchase and financing agreements; development of Corporate Approval Matrix; SEC filings, public releases and presentations.• Managed the treasury department staff as well as coordinated all treasury activities with accounting, tax, financial reporting, IT, legal and business unit Chief Financial Officers.• Maintained relationships with investment and commercial bankers, pension and savings plan managers, insurance companies, rating agencies, auditors, advisors, export banks and investors.• Responsible for investment, borrowing and share repurchase programs, including policies and procedures. Managed investment committee for both the defined benefit and defined contribution plans; responsible for performance, investment opportunities and risk management.• Negotiated and closed FX hedges, interest rate swaps and FX joint venture agreements for a $4 billion cross-border transaction for Telesat Canada that reduced Loral’s investment $400 million. • Researched, selected and implemented Hyperion for financial reporting and planning.
