As Head of Nursing, AHP and Quality I worked with the Associate Director of Nursing, AHP and Quality to provide professional leadership and oversight for Quality to each service area within the Integrated Service Division for Learning Disability Services.This was a key professional leadership role within the division with a Multi-Disciplinary remit, providing a visible, accessible and authoritative presence within clinical services. I worked clinically alongside staff and being available to patients, their families, and key partners offering assistance, advice and support where required ensuring high quality, safe, equitable, effective, efficient clinical services were provided.I worked to establish & embed a robust quality & governance process to provide assurance to Quality and Safety Meetings and other FORA in relation to clinical quality & safety standards within the Division. I actively supported and delivered the implementation of Nursing and AHP strategy, the 6 Cs and other relevant national strategies.
