Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, work ticket management.* Implement data systems using SQL, BigQuery, Looker (fka Data Studio), and other data tools.* Recent projects:-- 24x7 Carbon Free Energy - Provided program management and data analysis to help Google Climate team meet data quality objectives and annual reporting deadlines.-- Net-zero emissions - Drove stakeholder alignment and contributed to technical review of Scope 2 market-based and location-based calculation methods.-- Sustainability Datamart - Providing program management, data analysis, and subject matter expertise to create energy and water data systems, to support European Union (EU) reporting requirements and other needs.

* Led programs focused on data center environmental health, safety, and sustainability; data analysis, dashboards, business intelligence; data center energy efficiency.* Led programs through full life cycle, including concept, resourcing, requirements gathering, planning, execution, testing, communications, and ongoing maintenance.* Data center energy efficiency data programLed data analysis for energy efficiency metrics (Power Usage Effectiveness, or PUE) and reporting for global data center fleet (24 sites). These data are essential for VP-level efficiency goals, environmental reporting, and data center ISO 50001 EnMS certification. Kept pace with PUE reporting as quarterly calculations grew 6x. Delivered process improvements and two software tools that yielded ~80% time savings (100’s of work hours / year).* Safety data systems and dashboardsLed delivery for safety data analyses, systems, dashboards, pipelines / ETLs, SQL scripts (including BigQuery), business intelligence. These are the flagship data systems for Google’s data center environmental health and safety team, used by core team (>150) and >2,000 total users, with scope covering the whole data center fleet and safety for thousands of workers.* Environmental sustainability-- GHG / carbon - Completed internal peer review of Google’s GHG / carbon footprint (2 years), including Scope 1+2+3 data.-- Environmental Report and Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) submissions - Completed annual data contributions of environmental metrics for those reports.-- Data center Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for GHG* Emergency power management cross-functional projectsLed two multi-year projects to create new processes and software for emergency power management. These benefited Google’s entire data center fleet, removed operational barriers allowing additional megawatts of data center capacity to be built, and extended the ability to use backup power by ~30%. Second project won a company-wide award.

451 Research provides market research on enterprise technology, IT, and data centers.* Published 100+ reports, including three extensive reports on enterprise energy/sustainability management software, data center sustainability issues, and the economics of prefabricated modular designs.* Part of content planning team for 2010 and 2011 Uptime Institute Symposium, an annual global data center conference with ~1,200 attendees, 100+ sessions.* Worked with The Green Grid, an IT and data center efficiency trade group.
