As a control room operator at the Quinnesec Mill, I am responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in the Recovery and Utilities Department in the most safe and cost effective way possible. I am directly in charge of five field operators. Another job function that I perform is boiler field operator. I make routine rounds and perform daily maintenance. Some of the equipment I operate is: 3 boilers, 2 turbine generators, 4 air compressors, and 4 boiler feed-water pumps. I also oversee all related equipment for both the water and waste-water treatment plants.

Florida

I worked as a heavy equipment operator and welder for Energy Erectors throughout the state of Florida. Some of the equipment that I operated was: cranes, backhoes, boom trucks, as well as various other power tools. Jobs included erecting high line towers and pulling cable for 230 and 500 kV lines. I was also given a company vehicle and was in charge of holding weekly safety meetings as well as filling out time sheets for employees.

Iron Mountain, Mi

Employed as a truck route driver, I would make deliveries to stores and vending machines throughout the local area. I also collected money and at the end of the day filled out log sheets for truck inventory used during the next day’s route. I was in charge of making sure that all the money and billing for the day balanced out. I also worked as a forklift driver and assembly line worker at the Pepsi plant.
