My career is in corporate America but my heart is in the mountains, where my passion for climbing has led me to hanging from frozen waterfalls and summiting some of the world’s highest peaks. Throughout these adventures, I challenge my own perceived limits and am rewarded with life altering lessons that change my way of thinking. Now, I have the opportunity to share these experiences with others… In “Lessons from the Mountains”, I share anecdotes from my adventures, the questions that they forced me to ask myself, and the lessons learned on topics such as accountability, teamwork, compromise, and compassion. While critical to survival in the mountains, they are easily applied to the lowlands and undoubtedly lead to a more fulfilling career and life. It is my hope that my audience learns from my experiences and walk away inspired to make their own positive impact on this world!

In my role, I work with clients to identify and overcome the challenges of distributing perishable commodities through complex cold chains. Understanding the unique demands of a client’s business is essential to creating solutions that effectively manage spend, improve distribution capabilities, and increase shelf life. This is accomplished through a focus on Supply Chain Strategy and my continuous involvement in Industry Education. Supply Chain Strategy: I take a holistic approach when evaluating the cold chain, allowing me to identify the most immediate and impactful areas of improvement. Leveraging the flexibility of C.H. Robinson’s service offerings with implementation of industry Best Practices develops tailored and scalable solutions, capable of evolving with the needs of its clients. Industry Education: Additionally, I act as a consultative resource to the Food and Beverage industry through my work with Trade Associations and individual clients. I provide information focused on transportation industry trends, forecasts, challenges, and potential solutions. The logistics industry is in constant flux and understanding how to adapt to these changes is crucial to ensure a healthy supply chain.

I oversee C.H. Robinson’s partnership with the Western Growers Association, as well as seven additional produce associations throughout North America.
