Since 2014, I have been a Tier II Information Technology Technician at Hamline University. In this capacity, I have provided general support services to faculty and student users in relation to OTRS ticketing software and Blackboard. I serve as a technology consultant and I'm experienced in software and hardware troubleshooting, Windows computer installation and configuration, and Mac OS and iOS systems.I have extensive knowledge of both Windows and Apple systems, and experience with: Active Directory, AirWatch imaging via Casper/Jamf, and Unix. As an IT technician, I'm also responsible for asset management and supplying upper management with input regarding its currentsecurity, IT, and data procedures.I'm experienced in providing Google support services including Chrome OS; andproficient in all Google applications.In 2016, I completed an internship at Computer Forensic Services, LLC, located in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Computer Forensic Services (“CFS”) specializes in digital forensic investigations and cybersecurity. CFS is both nationally and internationally known for its investigative contributions to high-profile cases. During his internship, I learned digital evidence handling techniques, device imaging, and provided analysis assistance for a number of diverse cases including criminal and civil matters. Johnworked closely with CFS analysts to learn cybersecurity best practices and procedures.I completed the prestigious University of Minnesota Master of Science in Security Technologies program with a minor in cybersecurity.I love to learn new things and absorb information quickly. I'm quick to volunteer for new tasks and always produce a quality work product.
