John Stephens serves as Chief Executive Officer for Accretive, responsible for leading the company and driving strategic vision. He is a recognized leader in wholesale, specialty, and program development, having played a key role in building some of the largest public agency workers’ compensation and property and casualty pools in the nation. Much of his success can be attributed to his ability to build and develop teams focused on innovation and always challenging the status quo. John most recently served as president of Accretive where he was responsible for championing existing and newly acquired wholesale and specialty agencies to greater collaborative success. He also played a key role in aligning distribution, operations, and technology as well as integrating several strategic acquisitions spanning the United States, United Kingdom, and Ireland.
