The primary objective of this position is to develop an Investment Strategy leading to a 5-year Integrated Masterplan that identifies new service station opportunities as well as opportunities to improve existing Shell service stations in order to grow market share. Responsibilities include - feasibility study assessment; Financial modeling; Investment Proposal compilation and submission; The role requires extensive collaboration both internal and external - internally with many areas of the retail business and externally - Town Planning, Traffic Engineering, Environmental agencies, local regulatory authorities, property developers, project management companies, property developers and property brokers. The role involves the development of a Renewable Energy strategy (Solar PV) to limit Shell’s reliance on Electricity provided by South Africa’s State Owned Enterprise - Eskom. Conduct technical and financial Solar PV feasibilities and implement a rollout plan in the retail network.
