After 7 years of being employed by larger production companies, I felt it was time to start my own business. At Global Media brands it was my responsibility to create all of the video content for their Playcorp and Global Media Brands, including brands such as House, Robin's Kitchen, My House, Pet House and AFL. From my final years in University to the current day, I have been freelancing on the side with both passion projects and additional work, focusing on projects that I couldn't do in my corporate job. This included weddings, music videos, short films and even reality television. This was a mix of videography, writing, editing, directing and producing.

During this period at Visual Domain I was promoted to Senior Producer, which involved managing some of their biggest accounts including Origin Energy, oOh! Media, Realestate.com.au and Ray White. I managed my own team of editors and shooters on projects for which I developed the concepts, wrote the briefs, liaised with clients and oversaw production from start to finish.

During this period at Visual Domain I was promoted to Post-Production Supervisor. My role involved over seeing ALL edits and ensuring quality control across all teams and deliveries. As a result of 3 years of being a senior editor, this new role involved a lot of mentoring. It was my job to develop the editors, especially the juniors and help them along the path to becoming senior editors. In my first few years at Visual Domain I worked predominantly as a video editor (directing and shooting on the odd occasion). I would edit anywhere between 10 to 30 videos a week. In less than a year I had moved from junior editor to senior editor and started to show my mentorship qualities.
