Directly supervise 5-8 employees. Responsibilities include annual certification to train and oversee employees in the UPS Air Ramp operation and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Ensure aircraft is loaded properly and safely according to FAA rules and regulations. Payroll, human resources issues, employee attendance and performance accountability, employee on- the- job training, employee certification compliance. Preparing detailed documents offering explanations to any safety or service exceptions, as well as action plans to address exceptions in my operation. Ability to make sound decisions in highly stressful, time sensitive situations with very little margin for error. Annually certified to perform procedure that ensures that UPS aircraft safely depart with a correct center of Gravity (CG).

As a sorter I was required to learn certain SLIC's or zip codes and domestic and international abbreviations to sort packages to the correct area.As a loader I was required to pull the correct SLIC's and/or abbreviations for my specific load. Load them into a ULD correctly along with Haz-Mats to ensure the can is airworthy.As a run-out driver I was required to deliver any packages that missed the normal sort operations out to correct aircraft before departure time.
