Having worked in the Animation Sector since the mid-90s, my journey has taken me from service roles to running my own animation unit/school and mentoring at college. My ultimate goal is to give back to the industry that has supported me throughout my career.My expertise spans detailed modeling for advertising and visualization, game asset creation including texturing and lighting, character modeling and rigging, and rendering. I'm proficient in MAYA, Blender, Houdini, Fusion, After Effects, Unreal Engine, Unity 3D, and ZBrush.As Project Director at DN Colleges Group, I honed my skills in designing, developing, and delivering project timelines. I worked closely with funding partners and both external and internal teams to ensure successful project execution. A highlight of this role was delivering the £1.5 million VFX academy collaboration between Doncaster College and Lightforge Academy, bringing industry-leading technology and pipelines to the education sector.In my role as Director of FE at DN Colleges Group for Creative and Digital Technologies, I oversaw curriculum development for T Levels, Apprenticeships, and FTE courses. This outward-facing position involved engaging with stakeholders and developing strategic partnerships to enhance course relevance and create skill development opportunities for learners entering the creative and digital sectors.Most recently, as Head of Education at Escape Technology, I led the company's education strategy with a focus on building classrooms of the future. My responsibility was to ensure that further and higher education institutions had access to the best solutions, providing optimal experiences for their students and driving course success and future growth.As I conclude my time at Escape Technology, I'm excited about the future. The skills and experiences I've gained throughout my career have prepared me for an exciting new chapter. While I can't reveal all the details just yet, I'm looking forward to embarking on a new venture that will allow me to continue making a significant impact in the world of animation and education.
