John Streicker is the MLA for beautiful Mount Lorne - Southern Lakes. John and his lovely wife live in Judas Creek, where they have been heavily involved in the community. John has been the community Rec Director and the Manager of the local community centre and volunteered for over a decade on the Marsh Lake Loppet - the best little ski race north of 60°.John is an Engineer specializing in climate change impacts in the Canadian North with a focus on sustainability for northern communities. He is a past lecturer and science advisor on climate change at Yukon College and the Research Centre. He wrote for the Whitehorse Star and Encyclopedia Britannica for a decade. John served a term on Whitehorse City Council.John is the Minister of Community Services, Minister responsible for the Yukon Liquor Corporation, Yukon Cannabis Corporation & Yukon Lotteries Commision, et aussi le ministre responsable de la Direction des services en français.
