Currently a Master Electrician running a commercial electrical contracting company, who is a graduate student at University of St. Thomas studying Software Engineering. I am driven to learn technology and cybersecurity. Six years of experience with the installation of Computer Networks and data cabling and 15 years experience in customer service, Microsoft Office and business operations have inspired me to become an understanding professional and ready to meet the demands of the business world.I became interested in Cyber Security when I heard about the Stuxnet cyber-attack that was first uncovered in 2010. It was shocking to learn that computer viruses and worms could now be used to inflict real world damage on vital infrastructure. I realized that many industries using networked computers were vulnerable to attack. I was compelled to help protect sensitive information and design software that was more robust and resilient to help industries protect themselves in an uncertain future.While studying courses in Cisco CCNA, computer networking, Micosoft Office, Windows OS, IOS, Python, Java, HTML and CSS programming, I have acquired many skills that are in the best practices of the information technology industry.
