A commercially performance driven CFO with significant expertise in large blue chip and SME FTSE listed companies. With over 20 years of experience he is adept at dealing with difficult and challenging finance and business situations and has been a key business partner to the variety of stakeholders he has worked with. He has a sharp eye to assess current business situations, determine what finance needs to do and execute against it. He has spent last 2 ½ years plus, with Verifone as their CFO for Europe and Russia, a $550m Turnover business. In this capacity he has grown their service business, driven several transformation initiatives across the business as well as in finance, led strategy, planning and M&A and helped build European Investor relations. Prior to Verifone he spent the 2 1/2 years at TT Electronics partnering with their new CEO to manage the turnaround post a profit warning, giving investors, banks and the board members renewed confidence while on-boarding their new CFO. Prior to TT Electronics he was the European CFO at Dun & Bradstreet. As part of the Executive team he transformed the finance function across Europe, delivered significant operating profit growth through a process of cost re-engineering and with the president put in a strategic plan for the next three years. He has spent the majority of his career at Cisco in which he did a variety of roles, the last being the CFO for their UK&I division. At Cisco he delivered a number of transformational projects, re organizations, enhanced division profitability and business partnerships and was very active in developing sales programmes for their top sales directors.Having been at the heart of the changes at Verifone and with it going private he is now looking for a commercial, challenging board level finance appointment that plays to his strengths and expertise.
