15+ years of supervisory and management roles across a varied spectrum of industries, from food service and store management to quarrying and natural stone processing. In each industry I started in an entry level position and was promoted into a supervisory/managerial position. While in these positions, responsibilities included: purchasing, employee hiring/training/supervision, work schedules, meeting health inspection and MSHA requirements. budgets and payroll. A long-time passion and focal interest of mine was building, repairing, and networking personal computers. I have a strong aptitude in the technical world of computers and the more time I spent working with computers, the more interested I became in pursuing a career in this area. Since all of my knowledge about computers was self-taught, I recognized that formal education and certifications were necessary requisites in this field. As a result, I decided to focus full time on my education and accept more flexible part-time work. I am happy to say that I earned my Associate’s Degree, with a 4.0 GPA, in December, 2013 in the field of IT – Network Support and Network Security.
