- Teaching "Advanced Reporting: The City," a capstone-level undergraduate course that teaches prospective journalists how to report on cities and the immense challenges they face in the years ahead.- Teaching "Journalistic Inquiry," an introductory reporting class for undergraduates.Previous- Taught "Greening the City: How Can NYC Combat the Climate Crisis?", an entry-level summer reporting course on the climate solutions in NYC and cities everywhere. As a longtime freelancer, I regularly report on urban planning issues — namely transit and open space — for a variety of major news outlets. Over the last ten years, I've pitched, assigned and written over 500 stories: magazine features, news stories, blogs, op-eds, e.g.—for both local and national outlets, including The New York Times, VICE, Bloomberg CityLab, The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post, and Reuters. As a college student, I wrote over 100 stories on both city and national affairs, with full editorial control of the Runnin' Scared blog on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition, I monitored and led social media for said stories, and regularly pitched features at the weekly staff meetings. Together with editors, we worked to further develop traffic to the Voice's website.

As a college student at NYU, I edited NYU Local's National Section on a daily basis for a site that has 1,000+ unique visitors a day. At Sunday pitch meetings, I assigned stories to a staff of over 10 writers every week, and wrote a regular column on political affairs, on and off campus. I was also in charge of the site's content and social media accounts every Thursday.

Starting in freshman year, I helped write and oversee the publication of WSN's Staff Editorial every night. This included editing and publishing articles from columnists on a wide array of topics for the student body. I was in charge of brainstorming and assigning points of interest to columnists at every Sunday meeting, while working with other editors on the print layout of the paper every night. Aside, I pitched and wrote a column every week on national affairs and student issues.
