I am experienced in interacting at the C-level and am comfortable working with the Board.With 30 years' experience working both in Australia and the United Kingdom, I have held various roles across a range of industries. These include aerospace, mining, construction and engineering, manufacturing and distribution, telecommunications, retail, government, life sciences and most recently, medical technology, health and aged care. I am currently an advisor to the Board of the Australian Government’s peak e-health organisation, the Australian Digital Health Agency and former Non-Executive Director of a healthcare company (GAICD) and lecturer to final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students at Macquarie University.I hold a Masters degree in Information Technology Management, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Diploma in Electronics Engineering. I am committed to continuous learning which my employers have generously supported through executive development programmes at Harvard Business School, IMD Business School (ranked #1 six years running by the Financial Times), the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) and Thunderbird School of Global Management among others.I have a track record of establishing an organisation’s digital roadmap and executing the programme, managing technology risks and the complexities of relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.In 2022 I was selected from over 6,000 computing-related alumni of the Australian National University as an inaugural Alumni Laureate at the 50th anniversary of computer science teaching at ANU.In 2020 I received the accolade of Australian CIO of the Year.
