I am an Information Technology Executive with experience delivering strategic initiatives in large and complex international corporations. My leadership style is both hands-on and authentic, with emotional intelligence underpinning my communication style. I am experienced in interacting at the C-level and am comfortable working with the Board.With 30 years' experience working both in Australia and the United Kingdom, I have held various roles across a range of industries. These include aerospace, mining, construction and engineering, manufacturing and distribution, telecommunications, retail, government, life sciences and most recently, medical technology, health and aged care. I am currently an advisor to the Board of the Australian Government’s peak e-health organisation, the Australian Digital Health Agency and former Non-Executive Director of a healthcare company (GAICD) and lecturer to final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students at Macquarie University.I hold a Masters degree in Information Technology Management, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Diploma in Electronics Engineering. This was in part due to our response to COVID-19 across Ramsay Health Care’s portfolio of 72 Australian hospitals in addition to a myriad of other accomplishments throughout the year. In previous years, I was placed twice in the CIO50 list, as well as taking out Healthcare CIO of the year in 2017 under the iTnews Benchmark Awards.I served the nation for ten years in the Army Reserve and continue my association with the Australian Defence Force through the RSL and one of the sub-branch Pipes and Drums bands.
