•Responsibility for structuring, placing and maintaining the outwards reinsurance programme for the group.•Rapid company growth from circa USD 800m GWP to USD 4.3b involved numerous new sources and classes of business that required reinsurance solutions provided in very short time frames.• Classes include Aviation, Construction, D&F Property, Downstream, Upstream and Renewable Energy, Energy Liability, Marine (all classes), War, Terror and PV, Surety, Credit, Product Recall, Treaty including Property, Terror, Cyber.• Brought numerous new cross class relationships to a company most reinsurers had not traded with before • Responsibility for building a team and operating model.• Worked with almost every area of the business maintaining strong relationships with all.
