District Aftersales Manager
The role of a District Aftersales Manager was to provide guidance and leadership in all aspects of Service and Parts Departments everyday work practices. I have a passion to deliver quality results to all parties from Dealer Principal to junior staff whilst maintaining and enhancing Manufacturers requirements. Some of my experiences in the areas of Service and Parts include the following:• Designed and initiated downloading of dealer parts inventory in order to advise and or act on any issues as they occurred.• Designed and initiated electronic monthly reporting procedure in order to advise dealerships with any/all shortcomings / poor practices.• Initiated and designed at both IT level requirement and at practical use level new Stock Locating program.This program was designed to have three practical advantages:1. Quickly locate and source urgently needed parts.2. Minimize OEM’s high overseas freight costs.3. Minimize customer frustration and anger.• High level of interaction to requirements by OEM from franchised dealers, particularly at DP level.• Partnered successfully with all levels of management and staff in order to produce required monthly targets.• Strengthened company’s business by developing OEM’s Parts Policies and Procedures and implemented them.• Created new revenue streams by suggesting and introducing new lines of aftermarket accessories.• Continually exceeded corporate objectives by way of delivering highest DAM performances nationally on a regular basis.• Administered Dealer Service Depts. in relation to all corporate objectives.• Assisted dealers to develop and implement driveway check in procedures in line with corporate objectives.• Managed and administered/audited all warranty claims in relation to authenticity for correct processes and procedures.• Administered and managed all minimum standards as required by OEM in relation to Service Depts. Policies and procedures.
